Walls widths are preset (or can be customized to the job) and rendered automatically without overlapping corners, saving valuable time and reducing errors. Windows, doors, brick-ledges, beam pockets can be added with a simple point and click. And take-offs? They take just a few clicks to get all of your takeoff data. 1. Design - Automatically draws a double-line wall and puts in block-outs (windows, doors, brick-ledges...) to reduce your design time. CustomCAD^® draws the wall lines, footer lines and the Excavation lines all at the same time. You input your object measurements into our easy to use Input Windows and CustomCAD^® draws the objects for you. Every object is drawn on seperate layers so that you can view only the layers you want to see.
2. Panelization - Takes your design and automates the process needed to panelize your foundation. Panelizes both walls and footers. Use any Form system you want. You have complete control over your inventory and how you organize it. Use the built in paneling rules to define how it panelizes your foundation. Create detailed plans for your crews to show how a foundation should be panelized. Create detailed scatter reports to see how many panels are needed for each wall. Create a detailed Delivery report that tells you how many items are needed and how much it weighs. View your panelized foundation in true 3-D.
3. Take-Off - Take-offs have never been easier. With a few simple keystrokes, CustomCAD^® provides a take-off of the project with all the measurements and design specifics noted. Create schedules and tables for each object. Want to use all of the takeoff data in your own estimating program or workbook? Create all of the output files with a click of a button.
4. Total Station Layout - Lets you plan how a project should be staked out. And because it's continuous and interactive, if you make a mistake while you're working, it's easy to go back and make revisions. You can make edits at any time. Even after you have saved your design you can go back and edit any point to any place on the design. Also, you can create a points data file that can be download into your Total Station or Robotice Layout equipment.
5. 3-D Viewing - Lets you view and rotate your design to see it fully rendered in 3-D, from any angle. More powerful capabilities than found in competitive products.
